Each piece of Kreiss furniture is built to old-world specifications and
becomes its own work of art. Generations of craftsmen hand-carve specially
selected woods. Kreiss artisans then apply a wide variety of aged, distressed
and patina finishes to achieve the desired look. Finally, their expert
upholsterers use only the finest materials to build comfort into every
sofa, love seat and chair. The result is the unmistakable look of Kreiss
furniture - a unique blend of classic inspiration and casual comfort that
is both elegant and inviting.
Fabrics
The
Kreiss Collection imports exclusively designed and manufactured fabrics
for its wide selection of furniture upholstery, bedspreads, pillows, draperies,
throws and other fine furnishings. With over 500 designs to complement
one another, there is a much greater chance of finding the perfect marriage
of furniture and fabric. Kreiss fabrics include faded tapestries, damasks,
chenille and Matelasse, as well as raw silks and Egyptian cottons.
These
remarkable materials bring luxury and refinement to any room and are offered
through Kreiss Collection showrooms.
Luxury
Bed Linens
The
Kreiss Collection designs and oversees the manufacture of its own specialty
line of quality bed linens. Marketed through Kreiss catalogues and showrooms,
Kreiss bedding products define the highest standards of quality and distinction.
Fabricated
exclusively for Kreiss in America and Italy, these luxury linen collections
include matching shams, dust ruffles, pillowcases and comforter covers.
Kreiss
Collection bed linens are woven from 300 to 600-thread-count Egyptian
cotton. Then detailing such as hand embroidery, appliqu, fringes and
trim is added by experienced seamstresses. There are 100 different designs
to select from, with variable hems. Linens also can be monogrammed with
initials.
Accessories
It
is often said that accessories add distinction and charm to any room.
They also reflect interests, tastes and travels.
Knowing
this, the Kreiss family has traveled to cities around the world selecting
an exquisite diversity of adornments. An exotic global sensibility is
instilled with the spirited integration of antiques and artifacts from

Design
Started
by Michael Kreiss in 1975, Kreiss Design has created beautiful living
environments for over 4,000 homes to date. With a complete range of personalized
design services provided to Kreiss Collection customers at no additional
charge - everything from space planning and floor selection, to coordinating
backgrounds, countertops, faucets and hardware is at the fingertips of
the Kreiss customer. Kreiss interior design consultants begin with a detailed
interview, at the client's home if possible. Furniture recommendations,
room sketches and custom design boards are then presented with samples
of window treatments, wallpapers, floor coverings, upholsteries, hard
surfaces and more. Clients are often impressed with Kreiss designers'
bold, unexpected combinations of fabrics, textures, finishes and accessories
that when combined, give a highly personalized custom look to a room or
and entire home. If certain items are needed to complete a room, Kreiss
can manufacture them to the client's exacting specifications. Responsive
to clients' fast-track lifestyles, Kreiss has been known to design and
deliver and entire home in less than one month's time. However long it
takes, the job isn't finished until the client is completely satisfied.
